Hillary shares the process of coming to understand Esmé's multiple genetic mutations live at a Story Collider event in Brooklyn. The story was later included in one of the most popular Story Collider podcasts of 2017.
In September 2016 Hillary spoke at a Story Collider event at Union Hall in Brooklyn. In her story Hillary talked about the ways in which there was science everywhere in the ways in which she loves and cares for her medically fragile daughter. This story is all about not knowing where the line between family and science exists...and finding the poetry there. Hillary's is one of two stories included on the January 27, 2017 Story Collider podcast titled "Outliers."
