Remember a few months back when Ezzy was featured as a tinysuperhero on tinysuperheroes.com?
Well, Robyn and Puddles, who are in charge of empowering all the tinysuperheroes out there in the world, have been doing such a fantastic job…and people are really starting to notice their amazing work! Recently they have been featured on the Huffington Post and Today.
Robyn and Puddles also appeared on Seattle news last night. You can watch the segment here!
Watch it…you never know, you might see someone you know!
They were featured because they are sending superhero capes to all of the children injured in the bombings in Boston on Monday. These children are superheroes and I am so proud that a group that recognized Esmé for all her wondrous superpowers is helping these children be empowered by their own capes.
You see we live in a world where, for some reason people continue to do horrible things, as we have seen this week, and many other weeks all around the world. But we also live in a world where a mom in Seattle (and her crew of helpers) will stay up all night sewing for kids they don’t know just to show those kids how we all see them: as strong, amazing, powerful superheroes…who will do a lot of good in their lives.
I know that these capes will go a long way to helping these children feel a bit safer in the wake of this week…and as a result, I know it makes all of the adults around them to know that no matter what, there is always someone trying to do good in this world.
Keep sewing Robyn! Lots of love from Super Esmé’s crew.
