We are coming up on the first annual PCDH19 Epilepsy Awareness Day on November 9th!
It is so exciting to finally have a day devoted to spreading awareness for this disorder, which, as you all know effects my lovely little girl. It is such a simple thing to decide to just do this kind of day…but it makes a big difference in the lives of girls with this disorder (and their families, of course).
There are lots of ways that you can help us celebrate.
(1) You can share our Facebook page and/or our youtube videos (here and here) with your friends, family, and colleagues…encourage them to like The Cute Syndrome!
(2) You can also change your profile picture to the image above (also available on our Facebook page!) on November 9th (and the days around it!).
(3) Finally, you can take a picture of yourself with a purple balloon or something else that makes you think of Esmé and The Cute Syndrome (your giraffe print ribbon, for example!) and share it with us. Post it on our Facebook page or share it on instagram (#purpleballoon #thecutesyndrome #giraffeprintribbon)
Anything else you can think of is great too! We appreciate any and all activities that raise awareness of PCDH19 Epilepsy!
